General Questions

1.  How does nanniesgalore.com work?

Families ~ search free by entering the zip code of where you would like to find a babyitter or a nanny.  When you find one you would like to interview, sign up! Its fast, easy and secure. 

Nannies, babysitters and caregivers ~ join free. After joining you may actively search for a family in need of your services or sit back and wait for a family to contact you. 

2.  How old do I have to be to use nanniesgalore.com?

You need to be at least 18 years of age to use nanniesgalore.com (you may use the forum at any age as long as the COPPA form is completed).  www.coppa.org

3.  How do I become featured?

During the enrollment process you will be asked if you would like to become a featured nanny.  Simply click "yes" and pay the minimal monthly fee. 

4.  What is the benefit of becoming featured? 

Your profile will then be placed at the top of the search results. If someone in your zip code becomes featured after you, their profile will be placed above yours by one space. This will continue to happen until your 30 days are up, then it will be placed at the top of the search results again, unless you cancel your featured status.

5.  I would like to purchase a background check to make myself more marketable to families. How do I go about doing this?

During your enrollment, you will be asked if you would like to purchase a background check. If you click the link, you will be working directly with Acxiom to purchase your background check.  They will deliver the "results" of your background check to Nannies Galore in the form of a "color" (green, yellow or red) and that will be placed directly onto your profile. 

6.  Are there different levels of background checks that I can choose from? 

No.  Nannies Galore takes great pride in using Acxiom for all of our background checks and will ONLY use the BEST background check available.  We do not allow caregivers to use the "cheaper" background check because it is very misleading to parents & families.  Please visit click on nanniesgalore.com/resourceDetails.php resource under the resource tab for more information. 

7.  I am a babysitter and want to sign up for nanniesgalore.com.  Will I have to pay for anything, ever?

You will only pay a monthly fee if you decide to become featured or if you purchase background check.

8.  How do I cancel my profile and remove it completely from nanniesgalore.com? 

Click on "cancel membership" from your profile.

9.  How do I cancel my featured nanny status?  

From your profile, click on "cancel featured nanny status"

1.  What credit cards do you accept?

We take Visa, MasterCard and Discover.  

2.  Do you accept checks or PayPal?  

We do not accept checks or PayPal. 

3.  I signed up for your service as a family and paid for one month.  The following month, my credit card was charged again? Can you tell me why?

Nannies Galore is set up for recurring payments; meaning you will be automatically charged for the subscription that you signed up for after that term has ended, unless you cancel your membership in your profile. You agree to this (Terms of Use) upon enrollment.
