My name is Tamara Mickelson. I am the founder and CEO of Nannies Galore. I am a single mother working full time. Due to unfortunate circumstances a few years ago, I found myself in desperate need of a live-in nanny for my one year old daughter. I logged onto a nanny website and was lucky to find a live-in nanny right away. She worked for me for 6 months. It was a wonderful experience and we still keep in touch.
Since then, I have been hiring my nannies and babysitters from websites just like this one. Being a member of several nanny sites gave me plenty of choices when it came to the right care. As a parent, I like having choices when it comes to hiring someone I trust to take care of my child. My daughter is now 4 years old, and we still have a live-in nanny.

National Child Abuse Prevention Month - April
I am honored to be Project Lead for the Child's Safety Symposium at the National Child Abuse Prevention Month Kick Off being held at The Sacramento Association of Realtors building located at 2003 Howe Ave in Sacramento on March 31st between 2 pm and 5 pm.
National Child Advocate Marc Klaas will be present to help call attention to this important local, state wide and national effort, which is essential to protecting kids in crisis and beyond during what many law makers refer to as troubled times.
Our goal is to insure as many individuals, groups, businesses and families become involved as possible. We believe this type of public-private partnership is critical when creating safer & more family friendly communities.
The Klaas Kids Foundation and Positive Option Family Services are joining forces to reach out to potential participants and build the momentum necessary to insure families have access to the tools required for them to care for and keep their children safe.
